OCD?….Maybe a little

Those of you who know Devin will appreciate this…

Saturday Devin “took care” of the leaves in our yard. While most people use the trusty old rake, Devin uses the yard blower, his Dad’s John Deer tractor, a head lamp, AND the rake. Yes, I said head lamp. He worked on the leaves for 3 hours and it was dark most of the time. As you can see in the pictures, I don’t think there is one leaf left in our yard! There is also a definite line where our yard stops and the neighbors begins. Even though I tease him all the time about stuff like this, I am very appreciative to him for all the hard work he does to make our home look nice. My Dad always teases him that he must put up a chalk line to make the drive way look so perfect when he snow blows. I love you Devin! :)

FYI…

I have gotten a little behind on posting pictures, so today, I did FIVE new posts. If you haven’t visited us for awhile, make sure you go down a ways to see all of them. Sure do love you all!

Halloween…

Clark was a Sock Monkey for Halloween this year. The pictures look like he hated it, but he was a trooper as we took him around everywhere to visit. He didn’t take his hat off once, and he smiled at everyone that would talk to him. In my opinion, he is the cutest sock monkey I have ever seen :) It was fun to have someone to dress up, since Devin won’t let me dress him up :)

…oh, and it was my Dad’s Birthday! Happy Birthday Dad. I heard you turned 40, is that correct? :)

Gardener’s Village

Every year it’s tradition to meet my sisters with my Mom at Gardener’s Village in SLC. If you haven’t been you should try it out. We love it around Halloween time, because they have these cute Witch statues outside of all the little shops. This year we went right on my Mom’s Birthday so it was just two days before Halloween and their were so many cute little kids dressed up in their costumes. This year my niece and my nephews wife were able to come too. It was really fun, and so good to get together with everyone.

Pumpkin Walk

This was my first pumkin walk experience. It was really fun and I can’t believe I didn’t even take a picture of any of the pumpkin scenes! My favorite was the one of Noah’s Ark. We went with Devin’s friend from work, Paul, and his wife and new baby. It was really fun, but kind of cold and the babies didn’t last as long as we hoped.

Fall Days

Devin and I decided to do our own little photo shoot in our backyard with the leaves. They turned out pretty good, I think, considering all Clark wanted to do was eat the leaves!

Our friends Family Cabin

Our dear friends Katie and Nate invited us to Katie’s family cabin in Kamas (I think that is where it is). It’s close to Park City. We had so much fun! Devin and Nate went fishing and fourwheeling that’s how they took the picture of the cabin (Devin was impressed with our camera). We made dinner and a really yummy breakfast. The weather was perfect and it was just so nice to relax and be up in the mountains. It was beautiful. We are thankful for the invite, it was such a good time.
